Hello all, names Paul here. Im 21 years old and currently living in Los Angeles. Ive had a reef tank in the past when I was 17 and living in Michigan but had horrible struggles with algae and other common issues due to lack of money for good equipment. Now that im older and have more money, I decided to try again and seem to be having much more success this go around. Looking forward to meeting you all throughout the forums!

Welcome to R2R!!! I understand how frustrating algae can be! I encourage you to spend the money on a good water testing system and use it. Also make sure that you're tank is fully cycled and then use some sort of quarantine tank (QT) or process when adding anything to the tank such as fish, corals, rock, or anything else. We're glad you've decided to jump in and become part of this really neat community!
