Good morning reef2reef..glad to officially join the reef2reef community. I have been in and out of the hobby for 3 years now and have just recently upgraded to an SCA 90 - which is still cycling.. My previous tank was a Red Sea 130D. I still have so much to learn but excited to take the hobby to the next level.

I do need suggestions for a skimmer as that is the last piece of basic equipment I am missing...

Have a great Sunday!

Hello and welcome to R2R.

It is common for people to go out and purchase a system and then ask "what can I put in it".

I suggest doing it the other way around and tailor what you buy around what you want to keep.

So my 1st question: What kind of fish do I wish to keep?

Welcome again. The protein skimmer I use is the bubble-magus curve 5. It has been awesome so far and one of the reasons for choosing this one, I only had a certain size in my sump and this one fit. But I am glad for the purchase
