Introducing 7 year old rock to 2 month old rock.

In the office my tank is roughly 7 years old. Set up a small tank at home and it's been cycled for about two months now. I have about 5 to 8lbs of rock at the office that's been cooking for about a week. Planned on letting in sit for a couple more weeks. It was completely dry when I put it in. If the new rock is completely cycled will Ii affect my tank in a negative way at home?
And how long should I let the rock cook in the office tank/sump? Home tank took about a month but I started 90% dry rock and one piece from the office.

I have never had a problem adding new rock to old rock . If its dry I soak it for a few weeks before adding. If its live it goes in.
