Introducing my home 17k gallon reef

Relationship with wholesaler who will ship. Ya.
Ok. Thank you very much.
I’ll have to look into it then. There’s a few places in the States that I would love to get some fish from however the border is isue

Awsome tank, I would love to have that. My wife already says I spent to much time with mine, if I had that nobody would ever see me!

Thanks for sharing the videos from behind the display @Hedgedrew Like I said I’m a machinist so the mechanicals & controls are just as intriguing and beautiful to me as the reef and it’s inhabitants. Your wealth & ability to have this is something I believe most of us can only dream of.

Thx so much

Absolutely amazing tank. Thanks for sharing the tank with us.
The fact that your wife is also completely involved in the hobby must make this so much nicer to own.
You have a great wife and a great tank. All the best.

I think you have a very grounded side. It's nice to see even a monster dream tank have salt drips on the glass. Honesty in Reefing. I appreciate that!

I have been going back to your stickys for the last few months trying to remember it all. Lol. Great job !!

Been experimenting with H2O2 lately:

A single, 30 min 150 ppm H2O2 bath is looking very promising. :)

And dosing 1-2 ml of 3% H2O2 per 10 gallons every 12 hours for 30 days in a reef environment.

What fish? Healthy or sick? I've tested it on over 60 different (healthy) species now with no losses. It seems well tolerated IME.

When using it on a sick fish mileage may vary the same as using any other treatment. All depends upon how badly diseased the fish is at time of treatment.

Big sick emperor. !!

This is amazing! I have so many questions.

Question 1: Have you ever had to call a vet in for one of your fish?
Question 2: Over the years what has been your most expensive loss?
Question 3: Which fish is your favorite?
Question 4: If you have kids, do they take interest or is this dads hobby only?
Question 5: What was your first tank?
