Vet. No. But i have sent fish out for autopsy or have had people look under scopes for me. In fact im looking for someone now with microbiology knowledge and fish qt expertise. I have lost a few peppermint angels !! Kids are older now and all they want to do is put on wetsuits and dive in !! Started out with african cichlids and discus and went to salt water in 55 gallon in high school.

Have you ever given any thought to a large cichlid tank, like your saltwater monstrosity? It would be neat to authentically recreate their habitat on a giant scale.

I can’t wait to share your tank pictures with my students when we go back on Monday. This is the perfect example of hard work and dedication.

Honestly dang this is one of those build house around tank not tank around house senarios.

Meh. I mean, I guess it’s ok for like neon tetras or like 5 bettas, and even then that’s pushing it. I wouldn’t add more than like 2 plecos MAX.

This project must have been massive ! Was the house built after fish tank and how long did this entire project took from start to finish where you would fill up with water/ aquascape?

Financially, how many time did you break your initial budget ?

Amazing system, more picture of how it all looks from outside.
