Introducing my home 17k gallon reef

It took 4 years. And it probably cost more than double from original estimates. Yes parts of house had to come off but most of fish rooms etc were extentions so it was new space created . Because it was 3 side view we went to best reef architech around. We created little plastic box models with little rock . We use 2 industrial ro di machines that make 10k gallons a day so we filled a few days and then salted up.

Any thoughts on the types of corals you want and where will you source them? Are frags even an option

Colonies of frags placed close together are an option. But there are big angels so the type of coral will be important thinking yellow turbinara etc. no fleshy stuff
