Honestly changing out the crappy stock lights was the best thing I have done so far. Hoodless is ok but rimless on a Biocube scares me. I run an MP10 on mine and I have heard of catastrophic failures once removing the rim. Good luck. Make sure you start a thread of it once you do it!

Yea I was worried about the same thing. But WDkegge here on r2r has a nice biocube 29 rimless setup and I've had several convos with him about its reliability. He's had multiple 29s that he made rimless without issues, and he gave me a step by step on how he did it. So, hopefully have the same luck, crossing fingers.

Looking good I have had my tank for little over 3 years I got a deal on a 75 gallón fish tank I couldn't resist so I started the saltwater hobby this is what I end up with I do have to say do that it is an expensive hobby but not only that it's addictive the more you start to see everything grow you get more attracted to it Ike a magnet I spend countless hours admiring how the fish swim around the corals and I have to say it's beautiful I love it

Hi quick question I also have a bio cube and was wondering how the mp10 is working out for you I'm thinking of getting one but I don't want it to be over kill in that size tank

Hi Josh! I'm just returning to the hobby and setting up a nano cube. Your setup looks great! My husband Dennis (MyWifesACrab) is pushing for a bigger tank already but I'm putting the brakes on til I'm comfortable again.
