I had 2 Wyoming whites and one of them died a couple weeks ago for no apparent reason. Other one and other fish are doing fine. I am thinking of adding another clown maybe another Wyoming white or a Davinci i figure i have to stay with ocellaris. Would there be any special introduction procedure i would need to follow when i introduce it?

What size tank? I tried it with a female clown once, where I put the female in an observation box in the tank and let the male roam around. I was impatient and tried putting then together after a week, but she beat him up a little bit. I should have waited at least 3-4 weeks.

In the past I have had 3 clownfish in the tank at a time ( one clarki and two ocellaris) whenI introduced the second ocellaris, the clarki and the first ocellaris attacked the new one even though it was biggern than both of them. It calmed down after about 2 days though. You never know though. Just be ready to fish it out if things turn bad.

If you have a female then just make sure you don't add a female. Otherwise just add a healthy fish to your tank. Ocellaris are really easy to pair up

Love at first sight? I was in a lfs today and they had a real nice Davinci that was about half the size of my remaining Wyoming white with a decent price on him. So, i decide to take a chance to see it they would get along plus i go to this place quite a bit so they said it they don't get along i could bring him back for credit. got him home and acclimated him then put him in with my other one. My white chased him and nipped a few times her and there but nothing to bad. Before long they where just swimming along with each other with no more chasing and nipping. They seem to be hitting it off really well. The really exciting thing to me is when i had to whites they just stayed in the top corner of my tank pretty much all the time never going code to my gbta ever. The Davinci has swam around it quite a bit and my white along with so i am hoping they find it together and start hosting. The nem moved himself right in the flow from a power head which is pretty strong. Does that matter to the clowns? Current seems pretty strong for them.
