I have a baby hippo and powder brown who are happy in my DT for about a month now. I am hoping to introduce some new fish that are coming out of QT and looking for advice on the best way to introduce them.

I have a Purple Tang in observation with a black molly that is doing fine.

A small Sailfin Tang in QT that looks a little sad (not swimming around or eating that much).

Once I get the Sailfin out of QT I would usually put in the observation tank, but the Purple Tang is in the observation twice its size.

How should I best process this conveyor belt of tangs from QT-> Observation->DT. I am more concerned because the Purple and Sailfin are the same type of tang.

I figured adding the sailfin to the DT since it is smaller would be best, but I don't have any more tanks...
I am hoping someone out there has experience adding smaller tangs of the same species to the Display.

Personally I like to add all same species of tangs/fish at the same time if all possible. If not then I would add the fish at night so the fish do not get beat up all day. If they do want to try and fight then some have added a mirror to the side of the tank and the bully will tend to try and fight itself.
