Do you think hydra 52 hd would be overkill fkr a 60g rimless cube?

The fixture can be dimmed down to 1%, so technically you can put it on an 1-gallon tank. For a 60-gallon cube, you can get away with a Hydra 26, but there is definitely not a problem going with the 52.

I've been wanting to pick a 26 hd all month but can't seem to find one here locally in southern minnesota

We know a great online retailer who has both colors of the Hydra TwentySix HD in stock and will not charge shipping or sales tax to send it to you in Southern Minnesota. ;)

I need one this weekend

We can do overnight for Saturday delivery, but it would jack up the price. Give us a call if you'd like, we're happy to talk tank with you and provide a quote: 1-800-566-FISH (3474)

I have a Hydra 26HD over my Biocube 29 and its perfect for the size. Since yours is a sixty cube you need at least one 52 or two 26's.

Ai website states two 26's or one 52 for a 60 gallon cube. I would not do any less.

Will it be here by tomorrow

Yes, but we are approaching our shipping deadline (5 minute from now), so I would suggest you call us immediately as we'll need to make special accommodations for Saturday delivery!

TO GET IT BY NEXT WEEKEND WHAT'S THE LATEST FOR ORDERING?

With standard ground shipping, it would arrive within 5 business days (so by next Friday, before the weekend). We don't process orders over the weekend, but the earlier you order, the higher up you will be in our order queue for shipment on Monday.

ok so I just got the Hydra 52 Hd, it's mounted and plugged in. I have it set what I belive to be the best setting for my 60g rimless cube. any thoughts on how cycle should go?

We typically recommend starting at about 40% intensity then go up 5% every week or so. From there, see how your corals react to get an idea when to stop.
