How many people run the red and green channels on their V2s?.
I have not been running them I'm not sure if I should be
I'm considering adding a second photon 32v2 to my tank to get better light spread from front to back. will this increase par running at the same intensity or will it just increase part near the corners?
These numbers are just examples, but would I more likely have par a or par b running 2 fixtures?![]()
How wide is your tank front to back? How high off of the water if your light right now?
Thanks!Looking good!
Just personal preference. I run them very low while the whites are one. I think they add to the "daylight" look. I think the greens seem to give it a "HD" look if that makes any sense at all.How many people run the red and green channels on their V2s?
Sure you are! Tank looks good and I like the lights your running...[emoji12]Whhhaaattt? totm? I'm not worthy, but thanks!

Now that's coverage! Can't wait to see your readings.Added a second photon v2. Will get par measurements tomorrow![]()

Wow! What size tank is that over? It seems like most people have said just one has been a lot of power at high levels.Added a second photon v2. Will get par measurements tomorrow![]()

It's not so much about power as it is about coverage. In an ideal world I would have led panel over the entire top of the tank, similar to the LANI fixtures. This would primarily be to keep light levels more consistent around the tank and to reduce shadowing.
Oh ya of course, that makes sense. Just depends on if that is work another $600. What size tank is that double fixture over and how wide is it?It's not so much about power as it is about coverage. I'm looking to light my tank and its a standard 90 gallon (24" wide). I'm afraid one wont get me enough front to back coverage. My tank is 20" wide. If you keep an eye on the classifieds, you may be able to find 2 used fixtures for less than 1 new one. That's what I did!
Hey Logan. Was a pleasure meeting you the other day. Can't wait to see the 4 - 24" V2's over the 315 gal. Will post pics once it gets going.

Has anyone heard when the 48s will be back in stock? I emailed Reef Breeders yesterday asking a few questions but never got a response back.
