Hello fellow reefers! I can't tell you how excited I am to be part of such a cool group of people who share the love for this hobby. I've been a part of a couple of fantastic reef clubs in the past in Atlanta GA, and Dallas Fort Worth TX, but ORA in Oklahoma City is especially exciting. I look forward to meeting all of you in the future. Let’s blow this forum up and share information, discuss equipment, water chemistry, new products, and corals and fish!

Some of you already know me or have met me. Reef Keeping is my hobby, my stress relieve, and my passion. I'm favor Acropora but still have to lift my jaw off the floor when I come across a nice Chalice, Zoa, or Gold Hammer. I look forward to sharing my experience with you as well as learning from yours.

A big thanks to Bill at Custom Reef Creations for what I'm about to post next.

The 211g SPS/Angel reef.

In a couple weeks I should have my new tank. A Custom, PVC bottom, eurobraced, drilled, 211g work of art from Planet Aquariums. The tank will be drilled for 2 1.5†drains and 4 1†returns. Underneath that bad boy will be a steel powder coated metal stand also from Planet Aquariums. The dimensions are 48.5â€x34.5â€x30â€.

Here is the equipment list:
45g glass sump
Reeflo Dart pump
Octopus External Skimmer DNW 150 (temp skimmer) Plan on purchasing a SRO external 3000 down the road.
2x400w Metal Halide Radiums in Luminmax Elite pendants
2x48†Blue Plus T5s
Driven by M135 Bluewave magnetic ballasts.
Oceans Motions 4 Way
Reef Keeper Elite
80lbs of BRS Pukani dry rock and 30lbs of Pukani live rock.

Wow. Sounds like a real nice set up. Take lots of pictures while setting it up. Welcome to Reef 2 Reef.

The pukani.

Very nice. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us. Are the above dimensions for the tank or the stand?

Going to bit up Bill at CRC for these bad boys. He's got the mad fish locating skills!

Ummm yeah. So that blue lined angel is ridiculous!
I still need to locate a third show stopper for my 260 Rimless.sps tank. Wish I had located that gem!
I wont steal fish list ideas like our other sps nut friend!! Hahaha

Everything I've read Bill says to add him in last. The blue line is black and yellow as a juvi, bit quickly gets those electric blue lines.

Whoops, missed the dimensions in the first post. Sounds like an awesome tank, can't wait for progress.

Was going to do 20g water change on the rock tub. Water was disgusting and after I added the lanthanum chloride I decided to change it all. Much better now. Ill test for Po4 at week 3, no need to test now since I know it's going to be high.

The rock scape isn't going to be too tall. I want lots of room for the stags to grow up into. Ill have a high spot or two for some of the high par loving acros.

Pump and lights! Still need another reeflux 12k.

Oceans motions 4 way will be here Monday along with an army of cepex true union ball valves.

You and me both! I can't wait to see the flow pattern I get. The OM4Way drum is the 1 and 3, then 2 and 4 drum so i'll rout the PVC so I get all the flow on the left, then right side. Every 30 seconds I'll have a totally different directional current all up in the tank.

By the way, Custom Reef Creations told me my tank would be delivered next Tuesday! SWEEEEEET!

Now the question......to schedule 80 or not to schedule 80.....would look so sweet and I won't need that many fittings but it's double the cost.

My Cepex true union ball valves will be here today! Yup.....excited about ball valves. They are grey and would match some shedule 80 nicley. What to do....what to do.
