Hello everyone my name is Dylan, I have been keeping FW tank for about 2-3 years. It was a discus tank and was running great for awhile then I decided to add a couple more without quarantine, I lost everything about 3-4 months ago $2500 in discus because of a stupid mistake. I decided to leave fishkeeping so I sold everything, I couldn't handle not having fish about a 2 months ago I decided instead of going back to discus I would try something new and go marine. I read for a month before even looking for a tank. The end of october I decided I would give it a shot, I searched for a used tank and found what I was looking for in a week. 72 gallon bowfront with everything I needed to start keeping a marine aquarium, about 400gal worth of salt, 40lbs Live rock 40lbs of new sand, protein skimmer, t5 lights and a cycled tank so I could start and not have to cycle it. I have enjoyed this as much as discus and I loved them alot and is still my all time favourite fish. It's only been a month and decided this isn't big enough anymore and I want as big as will fit in the house.
Here is the planned build, I think it's perfect but i'll let some experienced people make sure I'm not missing something that I didn't think of.

I plan to run 2 x CoralBox QP-9(2375gph Max) or 4 x QP-5(1375gph Max), I've read that a bunch of smaller powerheads is better than just 1-2 bigger ones so i am leaning towards 4 smaller powerheads. Either way it's 30x DT turnover with return give or take.

4 Sections
1st section(10x18x15") will have poret foam(2" 10ppi,20ppi,30ppi) for mechanical filter.
2nd section(15x18x12") will have a CoralBox Cloud 9 Skimmer.
3rd section(11x18x12") will have 3 x MarinePure blocks and heaters not sure on heaters.
4th section(23x18x15") return pump will be Jebao DCS 12000 pump with manifold for reactors.
Aiming for about 6x(1100gph) DT turnover rate
Will be running 2-3 reactors, bio-pellets, carbon and possibly purigen probably a uv sterilzer too.

I am using tapwater and Coralife salt now and it seems to be pretty decent stuff have had no issues with it, I know most will say use RO/DI but I have no severe algae problems or any other problem with water. The only filtering I will be doing before mixing salt is sediment and carbon block. I may consider RO/DI if any corals I add are having problems.
I am undecided between the Apex, Apex Jr. or ReefKeeper. I want to be able to monitor Temperature, pH and Salinity. I want to control as much of my equipment from 1 app.
I want to setup dosing pumps eventually for Calcium and Kh but not to worried about it at the moment but suggestions on what pumps and solutions would be appreciated.
