Hi All,
Been in the reefing for some years, and before that freshwater and been a member of this forum for a while.
After 1/2 year break I'm starting my system up again. This time with dry rocks (have always used wet rocks) and had good (tons of life) and bad (Mantis shrimps, aptasia, money algae and other unwater critters) experiences with this.
Setup:
RSM S-500 LED
Full APEX
Want to upgrade skimmer from stock
Want to upgrade sump to get better flow for refugium (not a lot of space in RSM S-500 sump champer) The TRS-20 from Crystal Reef looks stellar (hope they'll give me a call and offer for free :-D
Want to run triton (was debating Zeovit) dosed with DOS (already have one unit so need on more).
Going to be a mixed reef, as less maintenance as possible is key!
