I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. I had a reef tank about 10 years ago and got out of the hobby when I moved. I decided to get back into the hobby as a project that my step daughter and I could work on together. I am still in the planning stages and have not set anything up yet. I know from my first reef tank that I need to take it slow (I made a lot of mistakes the first time)! I am looking at The Red Sea Max series systems- so if anyone has any experience with these I would love to hear some feedback.

Thanks,
Kane

Welcome to R2R Kane, and thanks for introducing yourself. Lots of red sea users here with good advice. I hope to be one some day ;)

Welcome to R2R! From one Hoosier to another!

I am just north of you in Westfield and @4FordFamily is in Carmel!!!

I love my RSR 750XXL. Great systems. The max is probably even better!

Welcome home, you will love it here!

As @HotRocks said, I’m also a Hoosier in Carmel and I too love the RedSea Reefer series! They’re handsome, although mine is a RS170.

Keep us posted with your build with tons of photos! :)
