So I'm one of those guys who QT's anything wet for 10 weeks usually but i just received a very large order of inverts for my reefer 450 from LiveAquaria as i grossly under estimated the amount of CUC i needed in a tank that big and starting to loose the algae battle. I just got off the phone with LiveAquaria and they told me the same thing as blue zoo aquatics, and they store their inverts in a completely separate system of water with a higher salinity than their marine fish, i assume its cheaper to run a lower salinity for their fish but i assume the inverts are not that tolerant of lower salinity? so anyways back to my question, would you still QT for a period of time before adding all these inverts to my DT even thought they have been in a fishes system for who knows how long?

Don't get me wrong, I've had good experiences with LA, but for them it's tap a few keys and you get a refund for lost fish, inverts, corals; for you it could be a total tank tear down, or 76 days of going fallow, or the illness or loss of your fish, inverts, corals. You've got a lot of skin in the game. What's peace of mind worth to you?
