I have all my snails and crabs in an invert qt, they have 30 days left of the 80 I was planning, to be safe. I have another large tank that is fish free but I will be moving my fish to eventually. Is it safe to move these snails and crabs from my invert qt to the fishless tank now to help with algae issues? Seeing as how I won't add fish for the remainder of the original qt period. Does that make sense?

It depends on what you are trying to prevent.
Fish diseases have life cycles. So in most cases, without a fish the disease dies.
Pests multiply and qt will show you if the inverts have any.

They have been in qt for about 50 days so far. They did bring in the clear/tan flatworms, from a popular vendor on here, that only seem to occupy the glass. As far as I know there is no reliable treatment for these flatworms. I had them in a previous tank and removed everything but corals and anemone and treated for 2 months with pig dewormer
