I have 2 tanks that I'm working on doing a bit of a reboot on. Both tanks could use a refresh on cuc and inhabitants in general. I generally stick to snails and that's it, but I'm looking to add some diversity and interesting inverts to the tank this time.

Tank 1:
75g
Softy tank
2x clowns
1x yellow tang
1x yellow eye kole tang

Tank 2
25g AIO
Looking to turn in into an acan dominant tank
2x clowns
1x royal Gramma

Tank 1 is in the living room so everyone sees it and tank 2 is in my office so I stare at it all day.

I'm looking for some fun/interesting inverts ideas outside of my usual snails.

I have a serpent starfish, tuxedo urchins, scarlet leg hermits, acropora crabs but still think these pinwheel snails are cool too.

tank 1:
cleaner shrimp pair
pitho crabs (great bubble algae eaters)
money cowries
a scutus snail (if you can find one for sale)
fighting conch (Strombus Alatus)
porcelain crab
& the normal trochus and turbo snails

tank 2:
bumblebee shrimp pair
white spot anemone shrimp
red brittle sea star
filter feeding sea cucumbers
sexy anemone shrimp
& the normal trochus and turbo snails

i might have more recommendations later, this is what came to mind, all reef safe and should not fight with eachother.

That serpent starfish and pinwheel snail are pretty cool looking! Definitely adding those to the list!

I always seem to have issues with urchins. I tried one in the 75g and it ate a corner of algae on the back glass then died.

Great suggestions. I've never seen a scutus snail before and I don't see any for sale in Canada.

I forgot to add, both tanks have an aptasia problem so if I can't find a good fish to take care of it, peppermint shrimp would be needed. Would they play well with that list?
I have two starfish and they are a blast to look at!
What kind of starfish? I thought they didn't do well in captivity.

Starfish need very well established tanks. I've had my orange one about 3 years now too.

Very cool. The bigger tank has been up and running for about 3 years. I don't feel like it could support a starfish though
They are difficult long term. Not really sure why mine has lasted so long. The serpent ones are easier and better for detritus

Yes, peppermint shrimp will get along with them.
