Invertebrates carrying ich or velvet question.

I'm still a good 30 to 60 days away before any livestock Goes into my tank. However, I was wondering with Ich and velvet, they say to go fishless for approximately 72 days. Does it matter what size tank you have?

Basically what I am getting at is I am starting to cycle my tank after it is completely cycled can I add invertebrates into my 125 gallon tank and if they are carrying ich or velvet will it be dead after 72 days and then be safe to put QT fish in the 125gal main tank?

Size of tank doesn't matter. It's the fishless part that breaks the life cycle of the parasite. See the article below it will be helpful for you. I used my DT as coral invert QT upon set up. Following these guidelines before I added fish.
