I have a 10 gallon nano reef. Just put in 2 clownfish and 2 snails 2 weeks ago. There’s a lot of poop on the floor. Should I get hermits this week to clean it up? Also, I heard hermit crabs need shells to exchange later on, but petco doesn’t sell any besides the big ones for real hermit crabs that live on land. What should I do?

In my QT tanks, I use a turkey baster to suck that crap out. Sounds like more flow may help you long term.
As for the hermit crabs I ordered some decorative shells off amazon, rinsed well and as they grew they used them. This is not the one I used but it’s like the one I got. Just search through for the size and shape the hermits like.
