Inverts

I was watching blue planet ll n Netflix. On one of the episodes there is a small clip where the tide drops and a bunch of inverts are left behind in a small lagoon type area. This clip was amazing !!!! Just watching all these inverts moving around and grazing on algae. I was thinking is it possible to keep a invert tank successfully long term without fish and without corals? Does anyone here on r2r have a mixed invert tank?

Mostly pico tanks keep inverts only. I remember someone had one with sexy shrimp for 5 years

Any type of setup is possible in this reef hobby. Seen some with a macro-algae only setup and also a shrimp setup only. This hobby starts with Imagination !

I'm sure it's possible with the right food and the right predators. Would be pretty cool too. I love that segment. All those nems and starfish. Awsome!!!

I have not in my display tanks, however, in my refugium I did...so technically I have had a mixed invert tank.
