cycling my tank, thinking ahead to inverts

I have a 45 gal red sea 170 e max.

would 3 turbo snail, 3 troch snails along with 1 emerald crab be sufficient for my tank size?

also, do I need to dip my inverts - i believe no? shoulder I just wash them off with saltwater before placing in QT?

Can I add my inverts when I add my first two clownfish? - I dont have any visible algae, so what do I feed them?

I think that is a good number to start with and you can add as necessary depending on lighting/bioload etc...

I do not dip or QT my inverts, I only buy from Reefcleaners and have never had an issue.

Just because you don't see the algae, doesn't mean it isn't starting to form. If you are concerned about it, and generally I'd only supplemental feed crabs if I felt necessary, you can feed nori or algae pellets/discs.
