Just wondering. I have a hanna checker and it read 0.0. is this a problem and what should I do thanks

U sure its saltwater checker?

Also I would get an ICP test. Don’t think there is a reliable hobby grade test that is accurate.

Iodide also has a pretty short half-life in the aquarium compared to other trace elements.

You don't run ozone, do you? If so I'd squarely blame the ozone. It is widely-known to do this. If your fish start getting goiters you know you have a real problem and you addressed it too late.
