Iodine Dip

My LFS doesnt carry TMPCC, what alternatives are there? More specifically, which ones are good made by Kent Marine (it seems like thats all they have)?

Get the Lugols solution and mix up a dip according to the directions.

I use the lugols solution. I mix it more concentrated with no ill effects..

I use "tech D". It works great for me. Alot of people say it stops zoas from melting. But, I use it to dip right when I get a coral.

i just bought and used Kent "Dip" for corals tonight. It uses a capfull of solution to one gallon of water.

don't know how well it works, just bought it. only kind my lfs had.

i also use lugols and really like it. so far so good, no bad effects from it.

After I frag zoanthids I dip them in straight Kent's iodine and they heal almost instantly. Yo wouldn't even think they were fragged within 24hrs latter. All new zoas I dip in a capful of Kent's to one gallon F/W and add a couple drops flatworm exit. Works like a charm.
