Iodine dipped torch. Tentacles about to burst

Hey guys, so my new indo torch had been badly snapped by one of my crabs and it had put a hole in one of the heads so i did a Lugols Solution by Kent marine dip. The bottle suggests doing 40 drops per gallon for 10-15 minutes. I used 24 drops just to be safe and put my torch in for 10 minutes. Now there are multiple tentacles that appear to be near exploding. Has anyone experienced tentacles doing this on a torch before. This is scaring me as this piece was very expensive

Thinking this maybe a response to the injury. I dip Iodine all the time and have never had blown tentacles. Good luck

Agreed, probably from the injury. Should recover in time.

I use iodine routinely fresh frags to help in the healing process. Would be no different here. Your torch needs time to heal is all.
