Iodine for dipping strength.

I'm stocking dips for when I buy zoas.
I can get Lugol's iodine in various strengths from 2.2% to 22%.
Also unbound and potassium iodide.
Help please...

To clarify, I see dipping procedures saying 1 drop of iodine per gallon, of what iodine concentration.

What are you dipping for? I use 3% H2O2 for 2 minutes for a general dip.

The one zoa frag I dipped like that due to hair algae on the plug didn't open yet fully. It's been 3 weeks, other frags bought together and not h2o2 dipped already are popping out new polyps....

I use the brightwell lugols. When I grab zoas I use about 15-20 drops per cup/cup and a half. You just want it to look like watered down tea. Around 10 minutes and you're good. Rinse in SW and put back in tank.
