Hello,

No, the IOND is not discontinued. GHL just suspended new sales until they catch up open orders that haven't yet been honored, and also the supply of pending replacement sensors.

It’s unknown whether the new probes made it to the U.S. I asked about it in this other thread.

You’re right. All the news has been on getting new sensors for already shipped equipment. There’s been no news about actual new directors being sold. They are still years behind meeting pre-orders.

Is GHL getting close to starting to sell the ION D? I find it hard to believe that they sold that many and they can't get a probe put together. I am getting tired of using my Hanna units. I need automation.

anyway, yes we got very close to resume sensor mass production (again)

some of these f...g chemicals made us crazy, those vendors were not able to supply them in a constant quality which is absolutely necessary to maintain the quality and accuracy we demanded

to make it short: if all goes well we can start with the sensor production after my final tests which happened the last weeks and are still ongoing, so far it looks good

What does the law say about a manufacturer selling a counterfeit device? A large number of people bought the ION. The manufacturer deceived all of them! It's time to file a class-action lawsuit for compensation for damages?

What in the world are you talking about?

Counterfeit? - I think you may want to look up the definition, it does not (even remotely) apply here.

Class Action? Who is the class and what is the tort?
They have openly offered to refund anybody still waiting on a device and would guess at this point would quietly refund people who got probes and still have a non working device.

Do you have a right to be frustrated, sure. Ask for a refund and move on would be my advice.
