any specific iOS apps recommended for tracking and managing your reefs? There was a good one I used to use on Android, but I don’t remember the name.

I’d be looking for...
Manual parameter results entry/tracking
Reminders for maintenance tasks
Logs of when livestock, etc was added

Thanks

The Aquarimate is great, you can track parameters, set up task list with reminders and also has a place to document your tanks progress including photos.. unfortunately I’m to lazy to keep up with it and rarely test for anything after tank cycles and stabilizes.

Just getting into reefing, is it better/easier to use an app then making my own templet and tracking it on paper?

Yeah, it looks great. Doesn’t seem to be free anymore... but $10/yr isn’t bad
Are they charging an upfront cost now? (I can't see it, having downloaded it before). If they are, then it must not be free, and then on top of that there is the completely optional 10/year subscription. I think the subscription gets you more than 100mb cloud storage and syncing across multiple devices, if you want those features. Otherwise, don't have to pay that.

+1 aquarimate. I really like that I can input all of my data on my laptop but have all the reminders on my phone. Works well.
