What settings are you taking those with. I never get that clear or focused shots.

I keep mine on the regular photo setting with the grid turned on. Then just 2-2.5x zoom. Anything after that you will get the grainy look. I then focus lock on the coral then either slide the dimmer up or down depending on the lighting time. I also use an orange filter.

I have found though if you’re taking pictures from the front or side your camera has to be absolutely straight or it will also cause refraction from the water and come out blurry.

Those are good! I can tell in the second pic you had your phone slightly tilted and got the distortion in the picture. And yeah filters are a must especially in a heavy blue tank.
