you might want to get the macro lens.If that is what the iphone can take.sorry but not that impressive.I think my phone can take better pic then that![]()
A camera in a phone is just that... A phone with a camera feature. It is not going to EVER match the quality of a good point and shoot camera, let alone a DSLR with macro lens. They are great for those "I'm glad I had a camera with me" moments but any real quality images you need a dedicated camera with good sensor and lens.
Not knocking the photos themselves as they look good for a phone camera, but my point and shoot I got back in 2003 or 2004 will blow it out of the water and it's just 5 MP...
One thing I see though is that if you took these directly out of the phone, the color representation is actually pretty good. Looks like the software on the iPhone can handle the white balance pretty well. That better than many phone cameras I have seen with the high blue lights we all use. You could say it's better than some of the cheaper point and shoots too if the white balance isn't caught correctly.
all i was saying is that there is no comparison between a camera phone and a macro lens.here's a pic of a small frag taken with my phone.disagree. your comparing a photo of the large acan colony to that of a small frag. one of the most difficult things camera phones struggle with is macro shots. i believe the original poster is showing the amount of detail on a small frag.
