iPhone 7 for underwater pics

Just curious if anyone has tried pictures or video underwater with their iPhone 7/7 plus.

I'd recommend getting a case for it. Both the iPhone and the Galaxy are supposedly waterproof, but tests have shown that the mic and speaker could be ruined, particularly with salt water.

Galaxy S7 is NOT waterproof. It's water "resistant" is the bs I was told. I took a couple pictures only dipping the camera under then tried again and accidently put the whole thing in. It was dead within an hour. Samsung refused to do a dang thing. Lost thousands of pictures that I used to document basically everything. I now have a guaranteed life proof case but still don't trust it since no one backs their promises and guarantees

I use mine all the time underwater in my reef. (Galaxy s7) Too scared to use my new iPhone 7 plus underwater. My speaker has stopped working for a day but started working again. Also the water presses buttons that you don't want pressed so it can be frustrating but I get great shots n vids.
