Nice collection you got going on!!! Next thing you know you are going to run out of space and are going to have to upgrade to a bigger setup lol

Looks nice I love zoas.

Careful with that bryopsis algae tho... that stuff can take over and can be hard to get rid of.

Thanks and YES! I know! That's originally why I kept this tank for coral qt. it Came in with Zoa frags I ordered from a fellow reefer. I have been dipping all frags in hydrogen peroxide weekly. Siphoning out excess algae and detritus. Zoas have responded really well surprisingly. The Bryopsis/Algae is subsiding pretty well! Will continue dip and significant water changes every week, up to a few months after.

Shopping around for a new in sump skimmer. Koralia Slim skim Nano is just not good enough! Need something better and bigger! Limited on height. Will have to measure again because I already forgot my clearance. "CrazyFace"

Well it sounds like your on it. If you get desperate, Kent Tech M can be used to raise your mag level above normal and the bryopsis doesn't seem to thrive in Mag over 1600 if I remember right. Or some impurity in it can't remember the reasoning just know quite a few people have done it with success.

I saw an add for the IM Ghost Protein Skimmers... I haven't tried one but may be worth looking into.

It has to do with the impurities. I haven't seen those skimmers, Ill have check on them! Thanks for the tip!

Those look nice!

Thanks Tim. Picked those up in Virginia Beach about a month or so ago. Remind me a lot of Dragon Ball Z's. They were covered in bryopsis an it is finally thriving little bit more each week.

tech M is proven to work. I use it about once a year when my briopsis reappears. Jsut dose to raise it by 100 each day. At 1600 or 1700 it truns wheite and is gone.

Very nice!

Tank parameters are like the facts of a story. Check em.

Thanks Carlb. I couldn't agree with you more!

I do water test and maintenance everything like I am supposed to. My problem is more that we have to overfeed our huge fat clownfish and it's a skimmer-less system. Once I can find a worthy skimmer that fits in sump, I'll be all about it! I personally like cryptic sumps, but it appears I'll be adding a light and macro algae.
