Irma and RO/DI Unit

Not sure on this one...if we get to the point of having bad water from the aftermath of Irma, can we use our RO/DI water unit on the water and it then be drinkable? Or, would it still need boiling? Any experts out there?

Yes, you could. Just remove the DI resin and just drink the regular RO water. But it all comes down to what "bad water" is. Maybe you should make a 55 gallon pail full now, while the water is good just in case. Because my friend lives in Florida and was saying they could be without power for weeks.
