Im riding out the storm here in eastern martin county. I have a battery backup with 4 deep cycle boat batteries to run my return pumps in the main display and frag tanks. Im pretty sure that will be fine untill i can get the generator out.

On my 80gal cube and my 24g cube i plan to use airators. Plan to put one on the 24 and 2 on the 80.
I remember reading that it is better to use them without the air stone because it move more water and breaks the surface of the water more. Anyone know if this is correct?

Also does anyone know if i could take a 12v hydor pump, cut the wire and run it straight to a 12v battery?
