Hello, I was wondering if the core 7 has iron in the trace elements.

I’ve noticed my chaeto hasn’t been growing and yet my nitrate / phos is rising.

The general theory seems to be that core 7 has more iron, iodine, and maybe molybdenum to power the fuge compared to their other methods product.

Have you run an ICP-OES analysis? If Iron is absent in your tank, then chaeto will yellow typically. If Iodine is absent, you will see lack of growth and eventual death of the algae.

C7 definately has Fe in the trace element composition

Sending one out this week. Had issue with the ca facility or something. So triton sent me a replacement.

Thanks for the responses guys!

Sending out new icp test today. Get to resolve my macro algae lack of growth.
