Irrigation manifold for reef?

Curious if anyone has used an irrigation manifold instead of building one just for the cleaner look? Why not if not?

Maybe not this exact one but something like — (assuming no metal parts of course)
1" x 1" x 1" x 4 Multiport Drip Irrigation 4-Outlet Swivel Manifold (Swivel x Mipt x Swivel)

Honestly, I can't think of a reason why not. It could be due to limitations with the fixed length/# of outlets, or that they want barbed adapters, etc.

Another option is to use radiant heating manifolds like this:
