Is 0 phosphate possible?

I picked up a phosphate test out of pure curiosity to see what my levels are. Turned out the fluid says 0? Is this possible?

Possible, but bad reagant is possible too. I'd get with anotehr aquarist with a different test kit or reagents with a different lot number. If it really is undetectable you shopuld start feeding your fish more and maybe suppliment it someway to get it above .03 mg/l.
 
True zero .... probably not. Unmeasurable by a hobby grade kit .... absolutely!
 
I love salifert and use it for a lot of tests, the phosphate is terrible. You always have to use double dose and even then the values are far apart and the color blue is impossible. You need Hannah for PO4

Yeah...I was gonna get a Hannah but god they're expensive. I guess I'll wait to toss that gfo in the reactor.
