Hello I recently upgraded up to a 60 gallon cube and reused my halo deluxe mx80 led. Will this light be enough to grow sps? I only grew softies in my nano.

How many watts is it and how many lux do you get at the water surface?

(Use a lux meter. Get one if you don't have one. A free app like "galactica luxmeter" for IOS will work to get you started, but I'd suggest getting a handheld lux meter....only about $15 delivered. Search for the "LX-1010B" or similar.)

Lens Emission Angle: 80 degrees
LED Array Structure: 25 LEDs (UV + Cool White + Blue + Royal Blue)
LED Light Characteristic:
Channel 1: Full spectrum of Ocean Blue Light 400-480nm (LED included: UV 400nm x 1, UV 420nm x 1, Royal Blue x 2, Blue 465nm x 2, Blue 470nm x 5, Blue 475nm x 2, Blue 480nm x 4)
Channel 2: High Kelvin white light simulating neritic zone (LED included: Blue 470nm x 4, Cool White x 4)
Dimensions (Light Unit): 5.3" x 5.3" x 5.5" high
Power Consumption: 85W at maximum intensity (DC 33V)

Still use a lux meter to set up the light, but it seems like 85 watts via 80º lenses should do the trick. If the LED's are all packed together, there will be a lot of shading - even more with certain rock layouts. Just something to be aware of as you set things up. Some people end up wanting to use lots of smaller fixtures (or LED's in a strip format) instead of one fixture to light the whole tank. Certainly adding a second halo wouldn't be too much light and would eliminate a lot of shading, even in a 60 gallon cube. That same brand also makes strip LED's, so consider adding one of theirs at some point if the shading seems like an issue.
