So, I'm waiting the arrival of my new tank and all that's left for me to decide on is my lighting. The tank is going to be 39 gallons and is 24x20x20. I'm going to have the light fixture on a lamp tree, height still tba. The fixture I am about ready to purchase is the 24" 6x24W Dimmable SunPower T5 High-Output Fixture by ATI. I'm going to be doing mostly LPS, highly dominated by chalices. Will 6 bulbs be too much light/too strong or should I be fine, especially with the dimmable option? I just don't want to end up having a tank where the only place I can put my corals is in the sandbed. I'm wanting to do 6 bulbs vs 4 so I have more flexibility in the color combos. Look forward to any advice.
Thanks!
