Hi everyone I've been thinking about starting a coral tank and I was wondering if a 40 gallon is enough, the dimensions are L 30" W 12" and the height is 22". Would this also be able to support a clownfish?

Thank you all.

Welcome to R2R!

Any size tank can be made into a beautiful reef. Even some .5 gallons out there. As for clowns anything 20g or above is fine. With any size and clowns there is always a chance at aggression. Even in my 90g they leave the fish alone and viciously attack me every chance they get.
