Hello all!

I recently just finished the cycle of my 75 gallon reef build and had a question for you guys. I have somewhere around 40 coral frags (a mixture of Softies, LPS and SPS all fairly small) stocked in a 10 gallon tank just for holding during the cycle. Now that my cycle is complete, Can I add all the corals at once? Or, do I need to add these slowly?
I know that there is no bio-load but, didn't want to deplete my parameters (even though they are all small frags)
Let me know what you think.
Thanks!

Add the softies and a few hardy LPS, keep the rest where they are if they're doing well. Adding SPS to a freshly cycled tank can be tricky with a high chance of failure. It can be done but why risk it?

That's what I will do then! Thanks man!

Honestly bro just do it. Just make sure you test alk everyday to see where your at. If it starts to swing with the addition of alot of corals youll run into some problems. Other then that your good to go mike

I would recommend adding at least one fish before corals. That will help get some nutrients in the tank and ensure it is fully cycled. I set up my 155 last October and moved a lot of SPS, LPS and fish from my previous tank. I moved two clowns after two weeks, 1/3 of the corals and mystery wrasse after a month, 1/3 of the corals and a starry blenny after six weeks and the remainder of corals and fish after two months. I can’t say for certain that I had to do it that way, but I had no losses with that method.

I added a couple chromis yesterday and this morning they are doing a lot better than yesterday! Thanks for the advice Jim!
