I have an excellent opportunity to pick up several portly spider crabs, but can't find out if they're reef safe. Anybody with any thoughts?

*edit* they range from nova Scotia to gulf of Mexico. I still wouldn't trust them.

Yeah, as juveniles, they hitch a ride and have a symbiotic relationship with cannonball jellyfish. I'm on vacation in Myrtle Beach at the moment, and their have been a ton of cannonballs washing up on the beach, crabs included... Wink wink.
