I know eventually ill need to upgrade to a hydra 26 or equivalent for big boy corals, but is a single AI prime enough on a Lagoon 25 to keep softies?

Actually just found a par chart for the tank with the single puck.. thanksYou will experience shadowing but yes, one Prime should be sufficient for soft corals. I would recommend two Primes over one Hydra to widen the coverage and eliminate shadowing.
Prime will be fine. Just keep adding more and more as you go instead to getting something new. 1 had 1 on a biocube a long time ago then added another for a reefer 170 and a third when I got A reefer 250. And I can grow any big boy corals with them. By having two pucks spaced out more than what you get on a hydra 26/32 you will have way less shadowing.I know eventually ill need to upgrade to a hydra 26 or equivalent for big boy corals, but is a single AI prime enough on a Lagoon 25 to keep softies?
