Is acropora touching rocks okay?

I just got this massive staghorn colony which ended up being much bigger than planned. I dont have time to frag it down before I leave for the week, and the colony is just resting on the rock at 3-4 points of contact. Will this cause much harm over the next week, or will the damage be fairly local to the contact point?

hi,nope,just going to grow onto and attach = more acro when moved

Once it touches the rock or the glass it will grow on it. It’s pretty cool that they do it you can see what mine is doing

It will grow all over the rock if you left it there. But should not happen within a week.
