Is an overflow box like this possible??/

Is a internal overflow box that uses a 90 elbow on both sides of the bulkhead like this design possible?? Or would I have to go with an external overflow like the synergy reef one.

That will work. Just make sure to secure the pipes as it’s a large moment exerting force on the glass.

Secure the pipes in what way?

Ideally to the stud in the wall with saddle clamps if you will have the dry wall out. If not, just drill slightly undersized holes and it should be good enough.
