Is anyone using Crystal Sea Marine Mix?

I have been using this salt and recently had an outbreak of cyano. A friend thinks that this brand of salt is known for having phosphates and causing algae issues. I have had a hard time finding anyone that uses it.

I used 2 boxes of it just recently. I got a good deal on the price for it and the seller convinced me that it was great and all the museum/aquariums use it.
Well box 1 i wasnt too happy with it... After always being stable with Reef Crystals I changed and noticed PH issues and ALK issues.
I cannot say 100% that it was the salt but i changed nothing in my routine but the salt i was using. I clearly was bad mouthing that box of salt...
After a while i learned to get in control with dosing and i decided to use the 2nd box and just keep a closer eye on it. 2nd box caused me no issues.
Once i finished both boxes i went back to Reef crystals.
I guess the lesson i learned was: If you change something in a good routine then test more frequently to keep an eye on it.
