is Aquaforest phosphate minus better in lowering po4 than Rowa?
i know Rowa is more messy but would like something strong in maintaining po4

To be honest I really don't know.
I started out using Rowa a few years ago for GFO and have never tried another brand.

They might use a different product, but many brands likely use the same commercial bulk source for GFO.
