I haven't used Flex PVC before. I just got a bunch of black Flex PVC. It seems to have a black coating on it of some sort, with white material forming the actual piping (visible through some scuff locations and at the ends, where the pipe was cut).

Do you know if the black Flex PVC is safe to use for reef? This would be for drain lines.

Thanks.

If it is just the exterior, it should be fine. Just be certain to remove the coating where the joints will be cemented.

Flex used often with sumps. Should be a-ok

It’s so much better then pvc in my opinion , it’s easy to work with and quieter then any other hard pvc system I’ve ever had
