Is canned tuna in spring water safe to feed fish ?

As the titles suggests I was just curious as wether canned tuna in spring water would be safe to feed fish ? Random one I know lol

No and I would not attempt. They are boiled in brine and other elements and only if raw would I offer it

but going to the seafood counter at a grocery store . Buy anything raw to feed .
some times you can find frozen seafood medley which is a mixture of almost everything . As long as it’s raw .

For myself . I prefer kippered sardines

I would avoid anything that’s been soaked in STPP (sodium tripolyphosphate), which is usually a lot of the fish counter at the supermarket. It causes proteins to take on more water and in larger amounts/concentrations is a neurotoxin. It’s usually not labeled, but if you ask the person at the counter if it’s ‘wet’ or ‘dry’, they should know (‘dry’ means it hasn’t been soaked).
