Is coral an investment?

I don't see anything wrong with fragging and selling something you've been carefully tending to for months. Good husbandry is as important as the type of coral, so I'd certainly pay more to someone who really took care of their corals. Price gouging however is another story. I think of the adage 'just because you can do something doesn't mean you should'.
